I project I am a confident, don’t give a fuck woman but I suffer like everyone from negative body image.
Bringing up two girls, I don’t want them to have the same insecurities. I know I have to be a role model and show them that everyone is beautiful no matter what size you are!
When I booked this session and Kate sent me some bodysuits to try on I cried! I didn't think that big and lace mix and all I owned was Kmart knickers!
Thank you just isn’t enough to you Kate, for your guidance, support, advice, ear to chew and Facebook messages (that I left a million of) yet you responded to every one with encouragement and love!
Your professionalism is second to none but it is your serenity and gorgeous soul that made this more amazing than I could of ever dreamed it to be! Not once did you make me feel like the revolting, fat mess I have thought I was! Never was there any discouraging speak or negative comments. Your lens has captured something that I never thought was there! Beauty really does come in all sizes and I love that you Kate have given us curvy ones a space and way in which we too can have pics like these taken in a tasteful, sexy, respectful way!
You made the shoot that relaxing I didn’t even finish my bubbles! We laughed, I cried and we shared our shared experiences all in my undies! Lol!! Thank you for empowering me to do this and make it the most memorable experience, thank you for your non judgmental ear, encouragement and support and thank you for giving me the most beautiful photos I have ever had of myself!
I have nothing but love and tears for these pics. I said I wanted this shoot to take me out of my comfort zone and allowing them to be shared really has! I did focus on all the things I hated and could pick at but the more I look at them (and trust me I have not stopped!) I am falling more in love with these photos. It has me at my most vulnerable yet Kate has captured it so beautifully. My body may not be perfect, it has carried, given birth to and fed both my babies but it is mine. I am learning to love and appreciate it more! Thank you so much for all of your heart felt love and comments! I really encourage everyone to do this! It’s not easy! But Kate is so gentle, loving, professional and makes the whole process so beautiful. You are an absolutely beautiful human whose soul brings out the best in everyone around you xxx
